Nice Wheels!!!!

When my nephew Zack came to visit last night, he showed up in this little number. My favorite color ( even though I am a BYU fan) and nice ride to boot.

He was really cute and gave the kids a ride. Although he wouldnt let me drive it yet, he did give me a ride and I have to admit, it was fun!! However, I do like my SUV.

Just some other fun pictures of the "Burnett Angels"

We live on a corner and people ( including some that live in the neighborhood) speed around our corner and down the street like it is a race track. Well, this is what we woke up to this morning.

It had to have been a truck because they sheered off the street sign and had parts of our fence strewn over the lawn and the street. Luckily we will only have to replace one post and one bar.

The most expensive part will be 3 large boulders we are going to get and place in the front corner.

On your mark get set...

Yesterday we went up town and watched my brother Scott run a 1/2 marathon. I am so proud of him. He did such a great job. I was bumbed because I had my camera ready to take a picture and my camera ran out of batteries just as he came by. SHOOT DANG!!!
He is getting ready to run the whole 26.2 Ogden marathon on May 17th.

Oh well, way to go Scott!! I love you and am very proud of you.

Why!!! Blind Dates!!

I got a call from a friend the other day asking me if I was up for being lined up on blind date. I said yes and told her she could give her sister my number to give to the guy she works with. WHY!!!! Now I cringe every time the phone rings in fear it will be him. Am I awful or what!! I really don't want him to call, at least not right now!! I wouldn't mind if someone else were to call but that isn't going to happen and don't worry, I won't tell you who it is so don't ask.

Not that I am apposed to going out because I'm not. It's just that I'm not happy with the way I look ( I know my friends that read this will be nice and say otherwise) and would really like to get some weight off and feel better about me. ( WOW! that's more than you want to know).

Anyway, this post is really about how you all feel when it comes to blind dates. Let me know how you feel about them.

Budding Pianist

Garrett was having a great time playing the piano and even dancing. He had on a new pair of PJ's and when he put them on he was so proud of the alligator on his top. Only, he said it was a Pterodactyl. Where did a 4 year old get that from???? It was so cute.

All Smiles...

Peyton is getting so big. She finally smiled for the first time.. Ok, maybe the first time that I saw.
Everytime Dana would talk to her and say she was daddy's little sweet pea she would smile like this.

When you need to unwind....

Tyler was trying to get Garrett to sit down and play with him but I think Tyler had more fun.

Applique- Smapplique!!

I am so excited! I signed up for a beginning applique class way back in January and it is finally here. My first 3 hour class was this past Tuesday and it was a lot of fun but work! The technique is needle turn and if you have ever done needle turn, you know what I mean by work.
I'm not quite sure when I am going to find the time to applique much with all my other billion projects but hey, it's a new trick.

I got a wild hair a few weeks ago to make everyone on the camp committee a lap quilt out of bandanna's since our theme is of a western nature. I have 3 almost done ( well, at least the tops. That's done isn't it!!!) and several more in the works. I am trying to change them up so not everyone gets the same design. It should be fun!! When I have the tops done, I'll post a few of them here. Shhhh. It's a secret!

April Conference

Can you believe it is April already! I am so excited for spring and for General Conference this weekend. Last night we ( Jean, Kelli and I) went to an Auxillary meeting for YW stake leaders and had such a great time. You could truly feel the spirit and knew that what the General YW Presidency inspired.
